Kristina, Brandon, Emily, Laura, Rob, and my dad Bob Sr.
It was our first dinner party in our new place. Rob and Laura and their 2 kids are neighbors that have now become family. They are very cool. They moved here from Florida. They are horse people - Laura is a trainer and Rob is a farrier (he does horseshoeing). Brandon is a HS senior and Emily is 14.
The occasion...
yes - there are 35 candles there, and I earned every single one of them. I guess I should say my parents earned them.
I wish you all could have been here to party with us.
Happy Birthday to me!
Kristina made my favorite birthday meal - "make em yourself tacos". AWESOME!!!
Kristina made my day really special - I am very blessed. She ALSO made my favorite cookies - Chocolate Crinkles. Yummy!
A new friend of ours Martha, who owns the only Mexican restaurant in town (and is a 9 minute walk for us), made me a batch of her amazing pico de gallo (family recipe from Mexico). I wish she and her family could have come, but they were running the restaurant. I think maybe if I get a job at her place I might learn the recipe.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
Stay safe!
Peace -

Happy Birthday, Bob!! Glad you had some great people to celebrate with. We miss y'all terribly, but we know God is going to do amazing and wonderful things through you. Ryan let me play the djimbe (sp?) yesterday with an Irish jig we did for offertory -- went MUCH better than my attempt at tambourine way back your first "official" Sunday at MFF!
God bless y'all, and we're keeping you in our prayers!
